Conservation 5K Run/Walk

Running or walking through the Rockwood State Park on a spring morning might sound like a perfect way to start a day. The Whiteside County Soil & Water Conservation District thinks so.

They are having their 1st Annual Conservation 5K Run/Walk on May 22, 2004. The Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am. Registrations forms were due by May 14 but there may be time to squeeze a few other runners or walker in before Saturday.

Call Angie Renkes at the Conservation Department at 772-2124 ext. 3 as soon as possible. Registration after May 14 is $18.
