Boosters, Hospital, and Masons plan summer golf outtings

There is no shortage of golf outings in the Morrison area this summer. Already three major outings are being planned. The first will be June 12th at Sunset Woods Country Club. Morrison Athletic Boosters have an 18-hole golf scramble planned with a Shotgun start beginning at 1:00 pm. The $40 entry fee includes greens fees and cart rental. Pork chops, brats, beer, and pop will be available starting with registration at 11:00 am. Prizes will be given out. Registration forms are due June 4th.

Just a week later, on June 19th, Morrison Community Hospital is planning their 2nd Annual Golf Scramble. At 8:00 am a Shotgun start will begin the Scramble at Cross Creek Golf Course. The $35 entry fee includes 18 holes, ½ cart rental, prizes, and a pork chop sandwich. Entry forms are due by June 6th. Proceeds will be used for new furniture and renovations in the long-term care unit.

Dunlap Lodge #321 is sponsoring the 6th Annual Masonic Scramble July 17th with proceeds going towards their scholarship fund. The event at Cross Creek Golf Course has a Shotgun start at 8:00 am. The $35 entry fee includes 18 holes, ½ cart rental, pork chop sandwich, baked beans, and chips. Entry forms and fees are due July 12.
