Super Wash starts new Sizing Automatic Bay

Bob Black, owner of Super Wash, looks on as works build the foundation of a new automatic bay.

Long lines at Morrison’s Super Wash have sometimes led onto the highway with waits of 20 minutes or more. According to Super Wash representative Dave Kirk that’s why they have undertaken an expansion project. The addition of a new Sizing Automatic is being added to the south side of the existing bays. The Sizing Automatic will accommodate larger vehicles and adjusts to vehicle size.

The City Council approved the project Monday night and Tuesday morning Brian Tiesman of Loren Tiesman Excavating was digging up the cement. Workman Plumbing already has the water service in and Nelson Electric is doing the electrical work. Super Wash employees are doing part of the cement and masonry work.

Currently the manual bays are all closed and the automatic is the only open bay. They hope to have all the bays open by the weekend.

“We’re hoping to better serve the people by lowering their wait time,” explained Kirk.
