Morrison residents observed Good Friday with a Community Cross Walk. Starting at noon, Morrison Christian Church held the first service, afterwards the cross traveled to Emmanuel Reformed Church for another service before concluding at Resthave Nursing Home for the last service.

The Council of Churches arranged the afternoon’s activities. By the time the cross arrived at Resthave, the room held over 100 Christians.

The Covenant Players did skits at each location. Covenant Players are an international nonprofit professional theater company founded in 1963. They serve churches, schools, nursing homes, prisons, and community groups throughout the world. Larry Howser, Jenny Merz, and Markus Merz (the Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa troupe) performed several current religious dramas.
