Pink Ribbons to be displayed until Alethea comes home.

If you missed Friday night’s benefit for Alethea McIlrath, you were in the minority. Alethea is an 11-month-old toddler at St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, going through chemotherapy for leukemia. The benefit was sponsored by her church Emmanual Reformed, YAG’s (Young Adult Group), and YF (Youth Fellowship).

Over 700 baked potatoes were served with all the toppings and dessert. Pink ribbons, to be displayed until Alethea comes home, were given out for a donation. Raffle tickets were sold for donated item including quilts, afghans, and other crafts. Many volunteered their time and talents to make a successful benefit.
