Seven youths charged |

Morrison Police were called to the residence of Jeff Young, 1702 Ridgewood Drive, Morrison, on March 13, 2004, at approximately 10:55 pm, in regard to an underage drinking party. Upon the arrival of the police, officers detained 19 individuals under the age of 21. As a result of the ensuing investigation, five (5) adults and two (2) juveniles were charged with unlawful consumption of an alcoholic beverage. All individuals charged were released to the custody of a parent. Those facing adult charges were subsequently issued a notice to appear in court. The two juvenile cases were referred to the Whiteside County State’s Attorney’s Office for disposition. All individuals charged are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police assisted Morrison Police at the scene. by Editor, theCity1.com |
