Delighted to be a Dubliner!

March 2 and here we are in Dublin after a long 7-1/2 hour flight direct from Chicago. So far we have seen one Leprechaun and he was at Ohare airport waiting to board the same Aer lingus jet as us. Today is chilly at 45 degrees and intermittent sun. For some unknown reason I was worried that there would not be enough food available and was I wrong. So far the food is wonderful and the people are as advertised, warm and gracious.

At times we think we are in a Charles Dickens novel as we walk these cobblestoned streets and listen to the click clack of boots on the stones. At night I believe we have seen horses and carriages or was it the Guinness? So happy to find this Internet Cafe' they are infrequest here in Dublin. Tomorrow we take the train West to Galway and who knows if we can get on the web there? We are having fun and taking lots of pictures!
