TC1 moves to new office

New Office for TheCity1.com

Joy Tegeler in her new office.

TheCity1.com made a little news last week. The office for the Web site moved to a brand new office. The office is still at the corner of Main and Madison in the old Super Wash Building next to Community State Bank. But instead of being in a windowless box in the north side of the building there is a window to the world and another to the new lobby.

The eastern door on Madison Street now serves as entrance to the lobby area for four new suites. Joy Tegeler Computer Services is one of the businesses to move within the incubator. Her three-office suite also has windows, which are facing Community’s parking lot and Lincolnway to the north and Madison Street on the east side. Mel Kenney and Gail Austin also moved their offices into the center of the building.

All the former offices are being demolished for more space so Community State Bank can expand and build a closing room and a meeting area. Tiling the lobby will be the last part of the project.

Thanks to Specialized Construction of Coleta, Illinois for the new offices and Jonathan Bush of Morrison for hooking up all the electrical and phones.
