Are you a Cub fan? Were you devastated when the fan deflected the imfamous foul ball during the Cubs’ 2003 loss to Florida? Northside Country Inn in Morrison is going to be part of the 6th Annual Worldwide Toast to Harry Caray on Thursday, February 26, at 7:30 pm.

On Thursday night, after the Worldwide Toast, Harry Caray’s Restaurant will destroy the ball in a tent on Kinsie Street outside the Restaurant. Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group in Chicago paid $113,824 for the Ball at an auction on December 19, 2003. MSNBC will be covering the destruction live. The group hopes this will end the Cubs’ Curse in preparation for the new season.

Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for the toast at Northside.
