At approximately 11:55 am, Morrison Police investigated a two-car accident at the intersection of Genesee Street and Wall Street. A car driven by Meagan M. Fedyk, 19, Morrison, was southbound on Genesee Street, when the Fedyk car was struck by a westbound car driven by Sarah H. Thorndike, 49, Morrison. Fedyk was transported to Community General Hospital (CGH) by CGH ambulance where she was treated for injuries and subsequently released. Both vehicles received extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene. Thorndike was cited with failure to yield. Thorndike is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

At approximately 11:40 am Amanda R. Long, Morrison, reported that someone had scratched the paint, broken chrome molding, and broke a mirror on her car. The damage occurred some time the previous night while it was parked on Meadowbrook Drive.
