Collectible Sesquicentennial Pins Available

During the next 19 months, 150 donors will be able to show their support of Morrison’s 150th. anniversary celebration by wearing a limited edition, logo-embossed pin. Only 150 square pins are available to those who offer financial support of $100. The gold-plated, collectible pins are 7/8 inch square and display the new logo design created by Jennifer Parker of Morrison. Each is numbered on the back; pins will not be reissued.

Monies raised from the sale of these pins will be used for sesquicentennial activities, advertising, promotional items, and supplies. Numerous celebrations will take place to mark Morrison’s sesquicentennial, beginning September 2004 and culminating with a festive weekend July 8-10, 2005. All facets of the community are urged to create special recognition activities beginning in September.

Sesquicentennial pins may be obtained from Bob Vaughn at TheCity1.com Building, 230 East Main, Morrison, IL 61270 or by calling (815) 772-8718. Your $100 donation may be paid in cash or with a check made payable to Morrison Sesquicentennial. There is no limit to the number of pins you may purchase at the $100 level. You may request a specific numbered pin as they are available.
