Two-Car Accident Monday

Morrison Police and Fire at a two-car accident in Morrison on Monday.

Morrison Police Department investigated a two-car accident at the corner of Genesee and Wall Streets. Megan Fedyk, 19 of Morrison, was southbound on Genesee Street when Sarah Thorndike, 49 of Morrison, failed to yield on Wall Street and proceeded into the intersection. Thorndike’s car struck Fedyk’s car and pushed it off the roadway into the city right-of-way and sidewalk. Fedyk’s car then struck a tree.

Fedyk was transported to CGH in their ambulance. Thorndike was cited with failure to yield at a stop yield intersection. Morrison Fire Department aided on the scene.
