Heritage Canyon to present Valentine Tea

The third in the series of Teas will be the "Valentine Tea" held on February 14th at 1 pm. The program, entitled "Pamper Yourself for Valentines", will be an interesting hands-on way to learn about beauty aids in the past. Learn to make your own facials, bath salts and homemade hand creams. Come dressed casually as this will be a fun audience participation program.

After the program you can relax and enjoy an array of beautiful desserts and a cup of hot tea or cocoa. The cost is a $10 suggested donation, payable at the door the day of the Tea but reserve your seat early, as this is a popular Tea.

There's still time to reserve a seat for the "Winter Tea" that will take place in the lower level of the Wierenga House at Heritage Canyon, 515 N. 4th Street, Fulton, Illinois. The tea will take place on Saturday, January 24th at 1 pm.

The program, presented by the historically dressed Early American Crafters, is entitled "Upstairs Maid, Downstairs Maid, Milk Maid and Scullery". It will offer a humorous and entertaining look into the lives of servants in the past. A $10 suggested donation is payable at the door and will include the program, food and lots of fun. However, seating is limited so please reserve a place, call 1-815-589-2838 and leave a message with your name, phone number and number attending.
