Three arrests made by Whiteside Deputies

On January 1, at 1:20 am, Whiteside County Deputies arrested Tyson J. Venema, age 21 of rural Morrison, on charges stemming from a New Year’s Eve party earlier in the night. Venema was arrested and held on charges of disorderly conduct at the Whiteside County Jail. Morrison Police assisted at the scene.

At 3:14 am on the same morning, deputies stopped Bran J. Bardell, 25 of Hoopole, for speeding on Illinois Route 78. Subsequent to the stop, Bardell was charged with speeding (80 mph in a 55 zone), driving while license suspended, operating uninsured motor vehicle, (2) Carroll County warrants, and (1) Whiteside County warrant. Bardell was held at the Whiteside County Jail.

On January 2, at 5:05 am, Whiteside County Deputies investigated a vehicle on the roadway on Black Road near Fenton. Jason A. Walters, 30 of Morrison, was arrested for driving while revoked and DUI. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and held. Morrison Police assisted on scene.

All individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
