Yearlings Stumble

The Morrison Freshman boys basketball team travelled to Bureau Valley on the morning of December 6 to compete against the Storm in a double header A / B game.

After a dissapointing loss the previous night in the Sophomore game on the same court, a weary Morrison team lost steam in the second quarter against a swarming full court Bureau Valley defense that was responsible for 32 turnovers. This factor combined with excellent Storm shooting resulted in a disheartening 63 to 36 point loss for the Yearlings. In a bright spot however, the Yearling B squad led by the play of Daniel Deter handed the Storm a 37 to 7 defeat.

Morrison, now 1-1 in conference play, will travel to Newman on December 13 for another A / B contest.
