Sophomore Fillies lose to Erie

The Sophomores Fillies lost to Erie by one Tuesday in a close game.

Erica Sanchez started the Fillies with an eight footer to start the game. Kelly Tenboer and Katie Tenboer kept the girls in the game for the first quarter but Erie pulled out to a four point lead.

The second quarter was an even match up with both teams scoring ten.

The third was all Morrison with Kelly Tenboer shooting two for three from the field. Katie Tenboer added one from the field and two from the line.

The Fourth came down to the wire with Katie Tenboer scoring nine. The Fillies had a couple of turnovers down the stretch that Erie’s Jessie Rosenow converted to give them the win.

Katie Tenboer had a double-double with a season high twenty three points, ten rebounds, three steals and went three for five from the line. Kelly Tenboer had eleven, five rebounds and a perfect three for three from the line. Erica Sanchez had eight and one rebound. Jodi Medendorp had five rebounds and went one for three.
