Pee Wee Team goes to Playoffs

The Pee Wee Pop Warner Morrison team finished their undefeated season November 15 by shutting out Dixon 45-0. The Morrison Mighty Mite team tied Dixon 13-13.

Wednesday, November 19, the Pee Wee team will travel to Park Ridge, Illinois, for a playoff game against the 9-0 Leydon Red. They will play in Hinkley Park at 7:00 pm. The team is chartering a bus that will leave at 2:00 pm from Southside School. Anyone interested in going on the bus can contact Coach Bill Onken (772-0149), Joy Tegeler (772-2537) or Mike Buckwalter (772- 8521). There around 20 seats available and the cost will be around $15 each.

Coach Onken said, “Our team is going to play really hard. It’s going to be a tough game but a good experience for them.”
