River Valley Preview

Morrison Mustangs are traveling to River Valley Coop to play another non-conference game Friday, September 12. After last week’s blowout against the new Chicago Charter team, players and fans are hoping for another victory this week. They will leave early for the 100-mile trip to Lowpoint, IL where River Valley plays. Lowpoint is south of Peru, IL.

The River Valley Falcons have lost 2 of their opening games to Morrison rivals Riverdale and Fulton. They have only scored 19 points against the opponents 73. The Riverdale game was 6-34 and Fulton won 13-39. River Valley has 266 students and is in the Big River Conference.

Last year the Falcons went 1-8 for the season and are probably looking for a win on Friday. They are coached by Doug Nutter.
