Glow-Ball Outing a Success

On Friday, August 8th, the Morrison Chamber of Commerce hosted a Glo-Ball Tournament and Dinner at Sunset Woods Golf Course. The event was a great time for all who participated and with more teams than ever this year, the event was a big success.

There were 12 teams that participated in the Glo-Ball part of the event, and 2 teams tied for first, but in the card back, the team of Kevin Schisler, Alice Senior, Gary Hayenga, and Mark Farrel won $80, which they donated to the Dollars for Scholars program. Many local businesses donated items for door prizes. Door prize winners were Sue Gomez, Gary Hayenga, Barb Fredericks, Michael Blean, Marge Croi, Wade Wiewerts, Mark Schuler, Steve Porter, and Carrie Amstutz.

The Chamber would like to thank Casa Gomez, Dairy Queen, Happy Joes, The Forest Inn, Sullivans, Super Wash, and Teglers Furniture for donating the door prizes.
