Chamber to host Glo-Ball outing

Would you like a chance to win $5,000, have a great meal, and have fun? Then join the Chamber of Commerce for their 3rd annual Glow-Ball Golf Outing and Buffet on Friday evening, Aug. 8 at The Club Restaurant and Sunset Woods Golf Course.

Social time will be at 7 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 7:30 and golf under the stars at 9 p.m. An added feature at this year’s event is a $5,000 prize for a hole-in-one from 100 yards out on hole #8 (now 17) sponsored by Ruth Gundlach, Morrison State Farm Agency. Golfing will be limited to 18 four-person teams so don’t delay in getting your registration form returned to the Chamber Office. Forms were mailed to Chamber members or you can pick one up at Wells Fargo Bank, Community State Bank, Metro Bank, Sunset Woods, or the Chamber Office.

At the registration table “gift bags” will be given to each attendee. If you would like to include a giveaway, business brochure, or business card, please contact RoAnn at the Chamber Office (772-3757) or Sonia at Tegeler’s Amish Furniture (772-3533). If you are unable to get your items to the Chamber office they will be happy to pick them up. Just give them a call!

Fundraising efforts by the Morrison Chamber or Commerce are used to buy banners for the new light poles, Christmas garlands, the Santa House, sponsoring the Halloween parade, MorrisonFest, and the NiCor scholarship. Why not join the fun and contribute to a good cause.
