Logo and Slogan Winner!

The Sesquicentennial Committee invited 8 community members and leaders to choose between the logos and slogans which were sent in by several interested Morrisonites and ex-Morrisonites. The independent group of 8 chose the logo and slogan submitted by Jennifer Parker of Morrison.

Jennifer has been in Morrison only 2 years but has been active in local events and says she wants to "..be an integral part of the sesquicentennial event in 2005". THe committee will now use the logo as seen on our masthead on this page and her slogan "Memories are made in Morrison" will now also be used in all of the celebration brochures and publicity.

Congratulations to Jennifer and also a big thank you to all of the participants who took the time to submit their own logo and slogan designs.
