Larry Gatz as the Jester entertained and amused during the Madrigal Dinner.

The United Methodist Church was turned into a sixteenth century medieval shire hall Friday and Saturday night for Morrison High School Music Departments twenty- eighth Annual Madrigal Dinner.
Harmony filled the hall as Senior, Dana Wolf, and junior, Megan Tenboer, hosted the evening as king and queen. Their court of Madrigal Singers was made up of seniors (Ryan Damhoff, Brad Eissens), juniors (China Rumfelt, Laura Prange, Bert Thorndike), sophomores (Erica Sanchez, Andrea Tomasino, Monique Vos, and Samantha Nye), and freshman (Daniel Deter, Eli Gravert, Rustin Lindsey).
TheCity1.com’s own Larry Gatz performed as the Jester for the evening as part of the royal actors. Other actors were Eliot Driver (Keeper of the King’s Beasties), Emily Miller (Daughter of the Keeper), Lloyd DeShane (Mordrick the foul), Katie Bunt (Hester), Stacy Belha (Princess), Jacob Medendorp and Andrew Akker (Royal Twins), Liz Urban (Town Crier), and Haley Ryan and Alene Vandermyde (Pages).
Donna’s catered the delicious roast beef dinner, while the Recorder Group and the Madrigal Brass provided the entertainment.
Darlene Powers–Palmer, with the help of David Bean and Cynthia Perrizo, directed the production.
