Gabe Gomez, Morrison Police DARE officer, is proud to announce his Role Models for the 2003-04 school year. Role Models are chosen by the teachers and they are usually involved students that are at the top of the class academically.

Megan Goodenough, Sarah Drey, Heidi Benson, Tricia Deter, Merrie Bunt, Kellie Oudekerk, and Jody Vandermyde have been chosen as this years Role Models. Officer Gomez has invited them into the 15-week DARE program with the 5th graders. They go into the classroom about every other week and help the kids with assignments and answer the students’ questions.

The Roll Models are also invited to attend the DARE graduation. In February, they are invited to go to Snowstar Ski Area to ski with the 5th graders. Merle Reisenbigler from Scenic Stage donates a bus to take all the kids.
