FS Gas Station Excavated

Kurt Stralow of Morrison Blacktop excavated around the old FS gas station to remove contamination.

Kurt Stralow of Morrison Blacktop was digging in the dirt at the old FS gas station on Monday. With each scoop Stralow took with his excavator the air around the area smelled of gasoline.

Landtech had tested the soil around the area and found it was contaminated with gasoline. 800 cubic yards of dirt need to be removed and replaced. Afterward Landtec will retest the soil. No water contamination was found.
