Morrison Police Report

On 11/18/03, at approximately 6:59 pm, Morrison Police charged a 15-year-old juvenile with domestic battery. The charge was the result of a domestic disturbance complaint in which the juvenile struck her mother during an altercation. The case has been referred to the Whiteside County State’s Attorney, Whiteside County Juvenile Court Services and Lutheran Social Services for disposition.

On 11/19/03, at approximately 3:39 pm, Morrison Police investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Genesee Street and Lincolnway. A car driven by Jennifer Raser, 26, Morrison was eastbound stopped for a traffic signal, when a truck driven by Jerry L. Baker, 50, Morrison, struck the rear of the Raser car. Both drivers received minor injuries but refused treatment. Both vehicles received in excess of $500 damage. No citations were issued.

On 11/20/03, at approximately 9:37 am, Gus Hayenga, Morrison, reported that someone had broken a window at his residence. The damage happened around midnight the previous night. It is uncertain at this time what was used to break the window. Police are investigating.
