Senior Application Deadlines

Seniors who want college applications, transcripts, and recommendation letters mailed by December 1st should notify me by Friday November 14th. Many college admissions offices are closed for a month during the holidays so it is best to apply before Thanksgiving.

Interested students may sign up with me to visit during homeroom with the following college representatives coming in November: Eureka College, Millikin University, Eastern Illinois University, Morrison Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Sauk Valley Community College, and Trinity Christian College.

Were you unable to attend the financial aid presentation at Sauk Valley Community College last week? The following workshops are a joint effort of the High School counselors of Erie, Morrison, and Prophetstown High Schools. Please join us for any or all of the following opportunities to get financial aid information.
December 1st 7:00 PM Prophetstown High School- An Overview of Financial Aid
January 22nd 6:30 PM Morrison High School - Applying for College Financial Aid - FAFSA
February 5th 7:00 PM Erie High School Computer Lab - Filing the FAFSA - Computer assistance

New additions to the scholarship binder: Agricultural Science Scholarships and Wichita State University Business Essay Scholarship Competition

Interested female students should ask me for details about the Summer Science and Engineering Program at Smith College.
