|
| During the past two weeks, the Police Department has received two complaints regarding a “peeping tom”. These complaints have been received in the southwest neighborhoods of Morrison. The incidents have occurred late in the evening or early hours. The Police Department would ask residents to call police if they observe any such activity. On 11/03/03, at approximately 2:56 pm, Morrison Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic accident at the intersection of the Morrison Institute of Technology (MIT) driveway and Illinois Route #78. A pick-up, driven by Nicholas R. Olds, 19, Rock Falls, Illinois, was exiting the driveway when the Olds truck was struck by a southbound car driven by Jeffery A. Burgess, Sterling, Illinois. A passenger in the Burgess vehicle sustained minor injuries but refused treatment. Both vehicles received in excess of $500 damage. Olds was cited for failure to yield from private drive.
