Have you stopped at the TC1Cafe' lately?

I enjoy working in my wife's coffee shop (The Coffee Garden) around this time of year, usually on Saturdays. Waiting tables and washing dishes offer a perspective unavailable to me working on this online magazine or the engineering business down the hall.Interestingly at least one or two new customers come into the coffee shop each Saturday with the exclamation "How long have you been here?". Interesting because the answer is 12 years, since late 1991 and made even more interesting because several of these new customers are from Morrison.

Did you know there is a little coffee shop here in our publication called the TC1Cafe'? It is a single "click" from the homepage and it is labelled as "TC1Cafe'" on our top banner. This is an important area of our publication as it is represented by some very talented online columnists in our area and all are passionate with their thoughts and opinions. Our publication supports free flowing of the many ideas and opinions of these columnists and we encourage you the viewer to respond whether you agree, disagree or simply have a different thought process on the subject being written about.

The responsibilty of our publication is to continue improving on this free flowing back and forth process of information of ideas and opinions all within the boundaries of our published Privacy Policy.Within the next few weeks you will be seeing some changes within the TC1Cafe' making it easier to be interactive with the columnists articles and being able to read responses of other viewers as well. Currently you are now seeing the first improvement on TC1Cafe' with the addition of the top of page cartooning. We have been wishing to add this for some time and you can now enjoy timely political and topical cartoon humor from some of the top cartoonists in the world. These very same cartoonists are being published daily in major newspapers, magazines and other websites. As with our columnists these cartoons do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Thecity1.com however are considered to be an important part of this opinion page.So take a stroll into that little online coffee shop we call TC1Cafe'that you somehow have never ventured into for all these years it has been there.Maybe, just maybe Bill or Barb has written an article that interests you or just plain gets you to fire off a counterpoint or even a compliment!
