| On Friday October 10, 2003 an incident occurred at the Morrison High School involving a possible student threat to the school. Superintendant of Schools Dr. Jody Ware confirmed the incident and stated "a written threat was found on a restroom mirror early in the school day on Friday." Thecity1.com obtained a copy of a letter issued by the Morrison High School Principal Mr. Brian Kenney which was sent home with the high school students. The letter stated "a general threat was made in a restroom" and "We took swift action in notifying police, reviewing video surveillance and interviewing students." The letter further states the building was searched and nothing was found. Police were called to the scene and according to student reports the police were at the school thruout the day. Dr. Ware further stated that "a few students requested to leave school and go home and were allowed to do so." The letter from Mr.Kenney and the statement from Dr. Ware assured that at no time students were in any danger.
