Sauk Valley College Night

Sauk Valley Community College is hosting a college night on Tuesday November 4th from 6:30 to 8 PM followed by a financial aid presentation. Over 80 Midwest colleges and universities will be represented including all 12 Illinois state colleges and universities. I have copies of important questions to ask when visiting a college representative or making a campus tour.

Juniors who signed up for the optional PSAT test should report Saturday October 18th at 8 AM to Mrs. Royer's room G5. The test will be finished by 11AM. Please bring 2 pencils and your calculator.

New additions to the scholarship binder include the Discover Card scholarship for juniors and the AXA, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend scholarships for seniors. Ask me for details and application criteria.

Juniors and seniors are encouraged to sign up with me to visit with any of the following college representatives who will be coming to Morrison High School during the second quarter: Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, La James College-Davenport, The University of Dubuque, The Franciscan University-Clinton, Western Illinois University-Macomb, Olivet Nazarene-Bourbonnais, University of Illinois-Springfield, Monmouth College, Eureka College, Millikin University-Decatur, Eastern Illinois University-Charleston, and Sauk Valley Community College-Dixon.
