Morrison Police Report

On 9/26/03, at approximately 8:40 am, the groundskeeper of Sunset Woods reported that a golf cart had been damaged some time during the early morning hours. The damage is estimated at approximately $1000.

On 9/26/03, at approximately 10:30 pm, Morrison Police charged a fifteen-year-old juvenile with one count of unlawful consumption of an alcoholic beverage and one count of unlawful possession of tobacco products. The juvenile was arrested in the 200 block of West Main Street while police were investigating a minor traffic crash.

Morrison Police would like to remind residents that burning is only permitted on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during daylight hours. Only yard waste can be burned. Burning is prohibited on the street, sidewalk, or gutter. If you have any questions regarding burning, or wish to make a complaint regarding illegal burning, please call the Morrison Police Department at 772-7659.
