| Jamaica My Homecoming is the theme of this year’s homecoming. Float building by the High School classes is the first activity starting on Thursday, September 11. The Homecoming Court will be announced on Friday, September 12 and Student Council members will be in costume to model "the dress-up days" for next week. There will be no assembly on the Friday before Homecoming this year. Spirit Week begins on Monday with students dressing up everyday for points. Thursday all students vote for King and Queen during homeroom. Thuse activities begin at 6:00 Thursday evening. Everyone in invited to powder-puff football, class competitions, and tug-of-wars along with performances by the Pons and Cheers. The King and Queen will also be announced at Thuse followed by a bon fire. Pep assembly begins at 11:00 am on Friday in the gym and students are being released at 11:45 am. Homecoming Parade begins at 3:00 pm through downtown Morrison and will end at the High School. After the parade, floats will line outside the fence near the softball fields. Friday night, September 19, the Mustangs tangle with the Newman Comets and Royalty will be introduced between the Sophomore and Varsity games. Saturday, floats need to be torn down and taken away.
