4-H Clubs Starting New Year

Are you artistic? Do you love animals? Are you interested in electronics or computers? If you or your children are 8-18 years of age and looking for a great family group to belong to, join 4-H!

Members say, "It’s fun!" "Putting the Pieces Together" is the county's theme for the new year starting September 1. 4-H is not just for members but families are encouraged to contribute. Clubs plan several family activities throughout the year.

Morrison has two clubs that are both active, Cottonwood and Spring Valley Hayshakers. Cottonwood meets the second Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 9:00 am. Their next meeting will be September 13. The club is planning a fall hayrack ride at the State Park on Sunday September, 14. For more information call Barb (772-7506) or Mary Benson (778-3609).

Spring Valley Hayshakers start their year September 11 and meet the second Thursday at 6:30 in the Spring Valley Township Building. For more information call Susie Patton (772-7593).
