Seeking Sesquicentennial Supporters

The 150th. anniversary of Morrison's founding will take place in 2005. The Sesquicentennial Task Force is developing several exciting ideas to honor the city's past and nurture its future. One goal is to involve all ages of Morrisonians in some way throughout the year. Perhaps there will be a week-long celebration, too, as there was May 29-June 4, 1955. Were you there?

We are in need of creative, task-oriented, civic-minded folks to attend our next meeting. If this describes you, please join us at Morrison's Heritage Museum on Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 P.M. Bring your ideas. Bring us your memories from the centennial celebration in 1955. Bring a friend and receive a prize!

Call Bob Vaughn (772-8718) or Stephanie Vavra (772-3144) if you need further information.
