“Morrison Sings,” has become a revamping of long-standing “We Sing for Their Supper.” Rehearsals will be on Sunday, January 22, and Sunday, February 12, at MUMC at 2:00 p.m.
Rather than offering its traditional autumn music program, “Morrison Sings” will host a concert on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at Morrison United Methodist Church (MUMC), 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
The concert will continue to be a fundraiser for the Morrison Friends Food Pantry and other local organizations, but the date and format will be changed. Instead of performances by individual churches, the Massed Choir, long an audience favorite, will sing more selection. The choir will be joined by instrumental ensembles and more congregational singing.
All singers, whether or not they participate in a church choir, are more than welcome to sing in the Massed Choir.
Music can be borrowed and will be available at the first rehearsal. All participants must attend at least one of the rehearsals.
