This week, Wild Winter Wednesdays at the Windmill Cultural Center (WWW@WCC) are presenting a program focusing on music from the holiday season. Members of the public are invited to gather at 9:00 a.m. for coffee, tea, and refreshments. Following at 9:15 a.m., the program will begin. The building is accessible to people with disabilities and the program is funded through a grant from the Fulton Association for Community Enrichment (FACE).

Julie Zuidema will present her program “Signing: The Music of Christmas.” While she was a missionary with the organization ‘Youth With A Mission’, Julie witness a woman using the art of sign language to express a song. She was taken with how beautiful the song was and how meaningful music was when expressed through the use of sign language. Julie went on to learn sign language herself and has begun using it as an expression of music.

Following Zuidema’s program, guests of the event will be provided with a short Christmas music concert. From the Second Reformed Church of Fulton, the Sunbeams, led by Linda Russell, will showcase the concert. Participants will be guided through a sing-along, complete with holiday music, graphics, and lyrics.

A new feature each week will be bread for sale by Krumpets Bakery. Guests will be able to purchase bread made with de Immigrant flour at the Windmill Cultural Center. WWW@WCC programs are held on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. from December till the end of March. Programs are free and open to the public.
