“What a wonderful event!” commented several of the 37 ladies who attended the annual Morrison Community Hospital Auxiliary Tea, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. Each of the Auxiliary members was treated to a performance of the upcoming play, “Shrek the Musical” by the Morrison High School drama team.
Mick Welding noted, “This would be worth attending on May 6, 7, or 8.”
Dody Ogburn and her team and Adrienne prepared chicken salad wraps, fruit bowls, and veggie pizza.
Officers were elected for a two year term: Karen Price, President; Clarita Vandermyde, Vice President; Adrienne Erickson, Secretary; Flora Stralow, Treasurer. Stralow summarized the profits from our fundraisers and, in turn, listed the items the Auxiliary has purchased for the hospital.
“All in all,” Welding stated, “it was really a great time!”
