The Encore Players are well into their second year producing outstanding entertainment for the public. Previous productions “Soldier, Come Home” and “The Killing of Pulford and Berry” showcased the exceptional talents of local actors, under the direction of Al Cairo.
Their newest venture, “Showbiz Potpourri,” will find the audience tapping their toes to familiar music and bring smiles to faces. Actors perform a nostalgic tribute to entertainment in America. The cast is readying their performances for the weekend of Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, 2016. The Saturday performance will be at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday’s performances will be at 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Held in the Community Room of the Savanna Museum and Cultural Center, 406 Main Street, Savanna, IL, seating is limited. Performances will be featured in a half-round seating arrangement to provide the best seating.
