For some of us, shopping for the holidays remains an enjoyable experience. So, for those who enjoy the search, attractive local shops or new venues always offer unexpected gift options. On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, I made a pleasant discovery while shopping on my daughter’s behalf, buying Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois Council uniform patches.
Consider a stop at GSNI Rock Falls Resource Center, 229 First Avenue, Suite 7, Rock Falls, IL. Weekday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The store is open Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
There is a selection of delicious GSUSA snacks ranging from $5 to $10 per container. I replaced my near-empty, one pound, jar of Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts (cashews, almonds, peanuts, and pecans.) The chocolates I had served at Thanksgiving disappeared in a day. I purchased a box of Gluten-free, Dark Chocolate Mint Penguins to serve on Christmas Day. You might like these:

A large menagerie of ty soft sculpture animals lives on a cylinder rack. Sequin backpacks and wristlets would appeal to females of all ages. The pink, unicorn face and flamingo purses are appealing.
There are lovely charms for Girl Scouts of the USA collectors and whimsical ones for all females.
Most t-shirts are themed, sized Youth Small to Adult XXX, and cost $14 to $19. However one states a universal message, “Life is Short. Take the trip. Buy the box. Eat the cookies.”
