On Thursday, May 18, 2023, family members of the late Jim Shirk donated items to the American Red Cross Morrison Community Blood Drive donors. Black t-shirts imprinted with the ARC logo and slogan were available for all who came to donate or volunteer. Blood Drive Program Team Leader Kaywyn Beswick displays both sides of the shirt. Other gifts were a beverage mug and the promotional ARC yard sign.
The large, plastic, sandwich board will be used at Morrison Community Blood Drives. Placed at the edge of parking lots and at intersections, it will serve as a reminder to registered donors and an invitation for walk-in donors.
The next ARC Blood Drive is Thursday, July 20, at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, beginning at noon. Come save three lives!
