Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating two separate burglaries which occurred during the last couple of weeks. We are asking the public for any information regarding these burglaries.
The first burglary took place sometime around Monday, August 5, 2013, at a residence in rural Sterling, IL, in which a construction company’s trailer was entered, and power tools were taken. At this same burglary, a garage was also entered, and power tools were taken.
The second burglary happened Thursday, August 22, 2013, at a business in the west end of Sterling. This business was entered during the night time hours, and a safe was stolen.
