These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty

4/5/19 at 5:28 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to a home in rural Rock Falls, IL, for a report of a female subject that broke into the home and was refusing to leave.  Upon further investigation, Sarah Snyder, age 44 of Rock Falls, was arrested from Criminal Trespass to Real Property.  Snyder was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where she was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.  Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.

4/5/19 at 8:30 p.m.  Mahipal R. Anuga, age 37 of West Des Moines, IA, was cited on Interstate 88 at milepost 21 for Speeding 85/70 MPH and Unlawful Approach to a Stationary Emergency Vehicle (Scott’s Law.)  He was released on bond with a mandatory court date 5/6/19 in Morrison, IL.

4/6/19 at 1:51 a.m.  Joseph E. Nohai, Jr., age 49 of Morrison, IL, was stopped in Morrison by Deputies for a lane violation.  Nohai was subsequently arrested for Improper Lane Usage and two Counts of DUI.  After processing at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, he was released on bond.  Morrison Police and Hunter Towing assisted on scene.

4/6/19 at 9:12 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to a report of an underage drinking party at a house in rural Prophetstown, IL.  Upon further investigation, Ulysses Hemminger, age 19 of Prophetstown, Brayton Lavine, age 18 of Prophetstown, Austin C. Baeza, age 18 of Prophetstown, Cameron Anderson, age 18 of Rock Falls, IL, a male 15-year-old of Prophetstown, a male 17-year-old of Lyndon, IL, and a male 17-year-old of Morrison, IL, were all arrested for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.  All parties involved were released to a parent or guardian on scene.  Prophetstown Police, Erie Police, and Illinois State Police assisted on scene.

4/6/19 at 10:45 p.m.  Leo L. Heaton, age 64 of Prophetstown, IL, was stopped in Prophetstown by Deputies for purposely swerving at a squad car on 3rd Street near Maple Avenue.  Heaton was arrested and processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of DUI.  Todd’s Towing assisted on scene.

4/7/19 at 10:57 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Tampico Road and Star Road, for a vehicle speeding 91 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.  Upon further investigation, a female, age 17 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested and transported to the Rock Falls Police Department for processing.  She was released to her parents pending future judicial process.
