Local Firefighter Rob Hudson is shown receiving a cash donation from Shell Express Lane/Johnson Oil Company Manager Pat Weidel on Friday, December 12, 2014. Hudson was the Committee Chair of the Morrison Fire Department’s fifth annual “Caring for Our Community” toy drive.

A raffle–to win an RCA, flat screen television donated by Johnson Oil Company–spurred the donation. The winner was Morrison’s Mark Hill, Service Manager at Schuler Motors, Inc.
However, multiple youth were the real winners at the conclusion of the MFD Kids Toy Drive. Public generosity aided the purchase of Christmas toys, games, and gifts for 59 infants, children, and teens from 27 local families.
