During August and September 2021, Morrison Athletic Boosters was chosen as the Shell Express Lane/Johnson Oil Company gas station’s “Giving Pump Promotion.” During those months, customers were encouraged to use Pump 1 to designate funds to the organization. Shell would donate 1¢ per gallon of gas purchased to the Morrison Athletic Boosters.
Boosters President LuEllen Lee had encouraged everyone to support the program and get fuel at the local Shell Station. She said, “These funds are used for the Boosters to support the MJHS and MHS Athletic Programs and needs.” Boosters regularly assist student athletes with equipment, tournament fees, and other related expenses.
The check presentation took place Wednesday, December 1, in the amount of $392.24. Patty Weidel is Manager at Shell Express Lane, 651 W. Lincolnway, in Morrison, IL.
