Do you love fantasy and going on magical adventures? Do you have a soft spot in your heart for nerds, or maybe even consider yourself to be one? Do you love “Dungeons & Dragons” and aren’t afraid to fight monsters with the roll of a die? Then, do we have a show for you!

“She Kills Monsters” will be performed by the Morrison High School Drama Club on Friday, May 6, and Saturday May 7, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

“She Kills Monsters” tells the story of High Schooler Agnes Evans, as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s “Dungeons & Dragons” notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure, in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge.

This high-octane, dramatic, comedy is laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture. Acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

Tickets are $10; children 11 and under are free. Purchase tickets at the door or online at the link provided below. Please note, children under 13 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as mature High School themes are addressed in this show.
