Sharon E. Tribley, age 82 of Sterling, IL, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling.
Sharon was born on October 11, 1941, in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Christian and Emma (Wade) LeFevre. She graduated from Polo, IL, High School. Sharon married Jerry Tribley on May 16, 1970, at Bethel Church in Dixon, IL. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2009 She worked for many years at Central Telephone Company. Sharon was a member of the Firehouse of God Ministries in Sterling, where she was very active. She enjoyed singing at church, baking, playing the accordion, and playing card games, especially, Golf. She also enjoyed going on trips with her husband and family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin (Trina) Tribley of Dixon and Brian (Elizabeth) Tribley of Morrison, IL; five grandchildren, Callie (David) Gottemoller, Sarah (Matthew) Hodge, Tyler Tribley, Andrew Tribley, and Emily Tribley; two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Bryson Gottemoller; brothers-in-law, Wayne Tribley and Daniel Joe (Colleen) Tribley; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Ronald LeFevre.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL, 1002 12th Avenue.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home in Rock Falls with her son, Pastor Brian Tribley, officiating.
Burial will conclude at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Firehouse of God Ministries in Sterling, IL.
