9-27-16 at 5:00 p.m. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, Morrison Police Department, Morrison Community Hospital EMS, and Morrison Fire Department responded to a rural Morrison, IL, address for the report of an unresponsive male juvenile. Morrison EMS transported the male to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Name of the deceased is being withheld. No foul play is suspected. The death investigation is being conducted in conjunction with the Whiteside County Coroner’s Office.
Editor’s note: The deceased was identified as Owen R. Oetting, age 15.
