September 21 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 21, 2018.

Arrests:  On Sunday, September 23, 2018, at approximately 11:11 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a call of Disorderly Conduct at 107 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL.  As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Nelson T. Grismore, age 33 of Morrison, with Disorderly Conduct and Aggravated Assault. Grismore was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police.

On Thursday, September 27, 2018, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Morrison Police, while assisting the Fulton Police Department investigate an incident, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Nicholas E. Fisher, age 37 of Walnut, IL, in the 700 block of W. Lincolnway.  As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Fisher pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Fisher with Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended   Morrison Police also charged Fisher with an additional offense of Driving While License Suspended.  Morrison Police transported Fisher to the Whiteside County Jail.
