September 20 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 20, 2019.

Arrests:  On Sunday, September 22, 2019, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Adam H. Norman, age 36 of Fulton, IL.  The traffic stop occurred on U. S. Route 30 at Creamery Road for a moving violation.  As a result of the investigation during the stop, Norman was arrested and charged with Improper Lane Usage, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Norman was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Thursday, September 26, 2019, at approximately 3:51 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a Residential Burglary at 631 E. Lincolnway, Apartment H, Morrison, IL.  As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Joseph A. Veselko, age 36 of Morrison, with Residential Burglary.  Veselko was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  This investigation is ongoing.  Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police.
