Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 2, 2016.
Arrests: On Sunday, September 4, 2016, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Morrison Police responded to a call of a motor vehicle crash, in the area of 444 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL. Upon arrival, Morrison Police discovered a vehicle which had struck a street sign, utility pole, and tree. The driver was not at the scene. As a result of further investigation, Morrison Police charged Devin M. Mouw, age 25 of Morrison, with Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident, Failure to Report Accident to Police Authority, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Mouw was issued a Notice to Appear for his charges, with a court date of Monday, October 3, 2016.
